Membership runs from 1 July to 30 June. It's what lets you give a paper, register for the Annual Meeting, apply for awards and grants, and serve on a committee.

Life memberships are available, individual or joint. CJ in print adds $15, or $30 for print and electronic. Memberships sent outside the United States and Canada carry a $20 postage surcharge.

Design note: Today Loeb access "may take two or more weeks following payment". The proposal doesn't promise instant access — that depends on the Loeb provider — but it puts new members in a same-day report staff can send on, instead of re-keying them.

This concept sends nothing. It is a design concept; no form on it submits data. To join, renew or give today, use the form on camws.org (on camws.org).

Design note: Today, joining is a web form, then PayPal with a $3 processing fee, or a printed form and a posted cheque, then a wait while the office processes it by hand. Here it is one short flow; the proposal runs it on Wild Apricot, so the membership is active, the receipt sent and the record created the moment the card is accepted. Whether to keep a handling fee is CAMWS's choice.

Sign in to renew, update your address or institution, switch CJ to print, or download a receipt. Renewal reminders arrive by email before 1 July, so nobody's membership lapses by accident.

Institutional membership

Schools, colleges, universities, publishers and classical organisations can join as institutions. Institutional members can nominate students for the Institutional Members Award (nominations by 1 May).
